Many times our actions are all that stand in the way of answered prayers. So in other words, we can not receive the promises of God by faith because our faith will not work when our motives are all wrong. He always does, and GOD is now answering their prayers, but this is NOT what they expected. I felt like it was a dutyI didnt feel my prayers were being answered and I didnt realize the presence of God as strongly as I used to in my prayer closet. The natural consequence of the banishment as pronounced in the passage quoted above, is that if man wants to have eternal life, he must first find his way back to spiritual life with GOD. God cares about you. What actions in others really push your buttons? Although you may have reservations about what lies ahead, dont let that deter you from moving ahead. Principle 1: Getting To Know Yourself And God's Plan Practically, we are people of little faith and often times it takes more than just prayer to get us up to a good feeling. This brings me to the New Testament (the book of grace), while the Old Testament deals with our flesh or behavior, the New Testament deals with our mind, attitude and spirit. If anyone had what seemed to be an unanswered prayer, it was Job. Satan wanted to prove to God that His faithful servant, Job would curse God to His face if God removed His hedge from Job. But God understood and He sent an angel to refresh Elijah with food and sleep. Elijah prayed for God's deliverance and it came but not in the way Elijah was asking for it. The few people who embrace the freeing nature of joy in Christ can be likened to a young man who still has such childlike virtues as trust, patience and innocence. There is yet another reminder for us in God's Word: "And when you pray" (Matthew 6:7); "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray" (Mark 11:24); "When you pray, say" (Luke 11:2). This is how God answers prayer; he goes through the challenge with us. The problem with a million dollar desire, is that it's a million away, a million dollars, a million miles, a million years. We should pray and leave it in God's hands at that point. Learn His promises, lean on Him and remind Him of His promises and He will hear and do them! The Bible tells us to "seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and everything else will be added unto you" Matthew 6:33."
